369.@Inage beach

Visited Inage beach upon hearing the work to cover there with the white sand brought from Australia completed last month.
Though the surface looks surely white, many black shingle seems to come ashore as in the photo. Wonder if the black area might increase?

And what looks like training was seen offshore. A chopper repeatedly tried to lower and lift its personnel to and from a fireboat.

366.@Lunar calendar Oct. 3rd
Today Oct. 30 corresponds to Oct. 3rd in lunisolar calendar. Shots taken this evening.
(some learning Japanese might have heard of mika-duki. This is that moon, the 3rd-day moon.)

365. A month behind

Susuki ears seen on the evening walk.
At this area, they were not found around the harvest moon, and came out only about the next one. Namely, they are late by one month.
The long summer must be that reason.

364. A family of ya-ga??

Found something strange clinging to a net screen of my shack this morning.
No exact word to describe, but the Gundam-related design.
A netsite suggests "fusa-yaga" of Yaga-ka (night moth family).

363. Typhoon No.15 max. instantaneous wind speeds

1 month after the typhoon No.15 passed overhead. I have finished strengthening my antenna system.
The photo is an article of today's Yomiuri News.
No revision in the difficult-to-believe value of Chiba. Thus the 57.5 m/sec was real.

362. Welcome! Autumn sky

At long last, autumn sky returned.
And aka-tonbo's hue has turned to red very much.
At the sidewalk of Inage Yacht Harbour.

361. I-400 submarines

Another exciting book I read lately.
The book tells of the story of the submersible aircraft carrier "I-400 submarines" and its onboard attack aircraft "Seiran" from their design stages to the sinking off Oahu after the WW II.
What made me impressed is that the list of the reference materials at the book end is as much as about 10 % of the total pages. And when the opposite views exist, they are also mentioned.
These days there are many who publish or report by using only the materials which suit their views or intentions. This book is just at their opposite and deserves full respect.
